The fall season offers a huge variety of photo objects for photo-addicted persons like me.
Go out in the vineyards on a day in fall (best time is morning) and you will find a lot of things to photograph. And if you are not a photographer, than enjoy it when watching to it......

Fondest memory:
It is interesting that the foliage of red grapevines become red in fall, and the foliage of white grapevines yellow ....
It seems that there is law and order in nature!

Göttlesbrunn is worth a visit every season of the year. This is the Rosenberg vineyard on a foggy day in January... and it was very, very cold so that the ice was on the roots ...
Brrrrr .... very uncosy but wonderful to see and photograph! So prepare warm clothing, take your camera and make a hike in the vineyards.

If you come in late spring you can see the future grapes blooming. It looks nice and smells good too .... and it is unbelievable that something becomes a grape and a good wine later ....
Further it is something for those who like photography!

Fondest memory:
The wine blooms much later than the other fruits. In most cases this takes place in mid-June, but sometimes it can be earlier and sometimes also later. It depends also on the weather!

This is a view from the Bärenreiser location. I took this photo in the late evening and also the weather was very good. The mountain in the background is the "Schneeberg" ("Snowmount" in english). It is nearly 100 kms away from here and Lower Austria´s highest peak (2007 meters above sea level).

Fondest memory:
Bärenreiser is another great location for premium wines and it is very similar with Rosenberg. You will see it when you take a hike or a bike tour from Göttlesbrunn to Höfleim, the neighbor village.

This location name mean "wood lane" in english. In former days they had transported the wood from the forest to village on this route. There are not so much vineyards there, because it is not such a good location.

Fondest memory:
But this has changed over the last years, due to the big request of the village's wines. So more and more vintners began to plant vineyards here. But they are not used for the premium wines, but for the simple everyday-wines....

These are the Rosenberg vineyards. Rosenberg means "Rosemount" in English. Some people say that it is the best location in Göttlesbrunn. Yes indeed, it is one of the best. It is a slope looking into the south and so the vineyards get a maximum of sun every day. And there are rich soils, which makes it perfectly for powerful red wines.

And it is one of the most beautiful locations here in Göttlesbrunn - specially with the big cherry tree in the middle!

This picture shows the "Hagelsberg" location. I don´t know how could I translate that into english, I think it means "Mont hail" or "Hailmount". However, this location is a very good vineyard too. It brings powerful reds with rich body and fully extract. The varietes "Zweigelt" and "Blaufränkisch" are planted here.

I really like my home... Hiking through the vineyards, taking a rest there, sitting at an typical "Heurigen" (wine tavern) and eating and drinking.... that´s life!

The picture shows our "Haidacker" location. It is one of Göttlesbrunn´s best. We have planted the austrian variety "Zweigelt" and an international variety "Cabernet Sauvignon" here. It is also good for premium white wines.
