Luggage and bags: Travel light! Walking at 1500m or more above sea level if you are not used to it may sap you.
Clothing/Shoes/Weather Gear: Sturdy walking shoes are recommended, especially the further up the Raxalpe you go. The higher you get up, the windier and colder it gets - take headgear including ear protection to prevent earache from the wind.
Toiletries and Medical Supplies: If you have weak ankles or knee joints, take the precaution of taking tubular bandages, support bandages etc. - a lot of the wallking is on uneven ground.
Photo Equipment: The views are spectacular although it can be quite hazy - a filter or two for your camera is recommended.
Miscellaneous: Take plenty of drinking water - in particular if you are not wanting to splash out for mineral water - a lot of the huts only have bottled drinking water.
