Schlosshof is the largest castle in Austria's countryside, maybe for the size of the castle and its surrounding parks or for both of them.
For a long time this castle was neglected by the tourists and by the owners (the state), simply because it was just a few km from the Iron Curtain, at a place where most tourists would never get to.
