This climatic health resort has been settled since the Hallstatt period. It is a paradise for passionate hikers because, no matter whether your approach is low-key or high-energy, you will find what you are looking for.
You can even meet some Indians there (see pictures)! Tour direction: 3 h to the hut "Goiserer Huette", another half an hour to the peak of the "Kalmberg" with the Indian's head.
If you prefer an experienced mountain guide Heli Putz from OUTDOOR LEADERSHIP (Tel. +43 (0)6135 / 6058) is happy to organize hiking tours for all passionate hikers. They also offer climbing tours and courses, trekking, "Canyoning", Big Wall´s ....

In former times, the "Goiserer" boots were the best shoes for hikers and well known across the borders.
Mister Rudolf Stefflitsch-Hackl is a master in his profession as a shoe-maker. His grandfather and his father taught him how to make the perfect boots for all feet. Visit him in his shop and see how the origional "Goiserer" ist still manufactured - hand-made of course.
