Favorite thing: If you are not into sophisticated and stressy nightlife (you are not - otherwise you would not have come to Fúcking) you can consider Fùcking as a base for nice daytrips into very interesting surroundings and come back at night to relax and enjoy Fùcking.
The good and cheap rooms in Waldgasthof Lindlbauer and the great and reasonably priced meals are an alternative you should think about when visiting the nearby and expensive Salzburg - or other places around here in comfortable distances as for example Burghausen or Wasserburg or trips through the nice but expensive area of the Salzkammergut or the Berchtesgaden and Koenigsee area in Bavaria. But of course that all is only interesting for you if you are coming by car - it is not too easy to reach Fùcking on public transport.

Favorite thing: This is a place, I am sure plenty of tourists in Austria would like to visit, if simply they would know about it and have an idea, how close it is to the city of Salzburg.
Therefore I made this page, with infos about the small village and the great panorama of the Alps...
...and the village-signs, that look like a nasty word BUT have NO meaning at all in German !!
