Since I am not golfing myself I have almost forgotten that once The Censor deleted my only one golf related tip - but maybe it was just because I placed it under "Warnings and Dangers" instead of "Sports". So I hope it will not be deleted this time.

There are several possibilities to play golf in the area. For those who want to start with there is a small golf training installation (3 holes) close to the lake Holzoestersee.

And there are several golf courses in the area, the nearest one is near the lake Waginger See right between Petting and Fúcking. See the website below. Here you can push the hard and round thing into 18 holes waiting for it..

Equipment: Golf is an expensive sport. So is most of the equipment, too: fancy dress, a caddy, a set of golf clubs, the membership of a golf club etc.. The only things which are rather cheap are the golf balls. But nevertheless some people like to wander around on golf courses when nobody is golfing and to steal the balls which they may find there. It is not recommendable, of course, to do so. And people are here very sensitive concerning thefts - think of the frequent thefts of the roadsigns and see also the warning on the second pic.
