The streets of Gmunden are very narrow and also quite steep in some parts. I strongly suggest you take your visit at a slow pace if you don't consider yourself in moderatly good health. Exploring these small side streets is certainly a great way to immerse yourself in the city, but you're there to have fun and not to over-exert yourself. So take it easy and leave the car parked!
