The Karkogel double chairlift takes you up to a very exciting summer tobagganing run, where you buckle up and enjoy a fastride down.
Parents be aware: Children under six are admitted only when accomanied by an adult. So only show this place to the little kids if you are confident enough to go down yourself.
The track is almost 2 km long and is a smashing thing to race down.

The Postalmstraße leads you to the Postalm. The Postalm is Austria's largest so called Alm.
Some fine walks can be made here between the cows and horses who graze the mountain meadows.
There are 5 advised walks from 1-3 hrs. Lots of nice views on the surrounding mountain area.
The road leads from Abtenau to Strobl at the Wolfgangsee. It is a Mautstraße or Tollroad. The admission fee is € 7,00 per car.
