    Slope and water

by victorwkf Written Jun 22, 2007

    3.5 out of 5 starsHelpfulness

Although the trails of Krimml Waterfalls are well paved and marked, you need to go up a slope so you must be mentally prepared, especially if you want to go all the way up to the upper falls which may take 4-5 hours. However, you can rest along the way and there are benches. Also, at some of the lookout points, be prepared to get a bit wet because the water from the waterfalls may blow towards the lookout points depending on the direction of the wind. You can either bring a raincoat or umbrella if you are afraid of getting wet.

The penalty for not displaying a disc is €120 for cars and €65 for motorcycles. They are sold at border crossings, fuel stations and post offices.
