Dining like the old knights is possible in the wide halls of Werfen castle every Tuesday, Friday and Saturday, BUT upon request ONLY, because this "Ritterschmaus" is not only a meal in the old style, but also a performance of musicians and actors, and YOU will as well be part of their performances in a funny way...
The price per person is 40 euros except drinks for a 6-course menu at the last day of the year, at other dates you may get menus for children already for 14 euros, for adults 23-31 euros.
Of course you may reserve this kind of festivity also for your private family, marriages etc.

Schmalzgebackene Mäuse mit Rotweingranggnsauce
sounds a bit strange in german, when you try to translate it :
Mice baked in fat with redwine-sauce
Yeast fritters with red wine sauce
is the english term for it, sounds a lot better already
