The hotel restaurant was large and of country-style settings. The best thing about the place was the fantastic view seen from the large windows of the restaurant. You can see the sudsteirmarkt valley from here. No wonder the hotel is called the Panoramahotel; it has a panoramic view of the whole valley area!

Hence, you can also share the same fantastic view while you eat your meals and drink the excellent wines.

Favorite Dish: These were the 2 fantastic food I ate in this hotel restaurant:

    1) Styrian Fried Chicken is the best fried chicken I've tasted in my life. It is 100x better than kentucky-fried chicken (seriously!). The chicken came from the nearby local farms (raised organically, off course), and I cannot described the wonderful delicious taste. You just have to try it yourself.

    2) You should also try the Styrian Ice Cream. It is home-made vanilla ice-cream topped with caramel-crusted pumpkin seeds and pumpkin seed oil.

Kitzeck im Sausal Nightlife

Kitzeck's version of night life is the traditional countrystyle night entertainment; it's nothing more than eating and drinking with the local folks in numerous local wine taverns/gardens (Heurigers and Buschenschanks), gasthaus (local pubs), restaurants and hotels.

If you don't mind the noisy diners, food smells, and smoky rooms, you can stay indoors. However, I would suggest you sit outside and enjoy the fresh air and the fantastic view of the surrounding area!

Dress Code: Anything casual. Just make sure you're not half-naked or less.

Kitzeck and the surrounding south styria area are great for hiking. The rolling and terraced hills planted with grapevines and other fruit trees are great for some sweating workout.

Equipment: Good pair of walking/hiking shoes, walking/hiking stick, comfortable clothes, cap/hat, water, small towel and a light backpack to carry all your knick-knacks.
