Favorite thing: This yellow church with two towers was built between 1751 and 1755 in Rococo style. A first church had been erected in the 13th century. This has been a site of pilgrimage since the Middle Ages. There is an statue of a Madonna on the main altar I suppose. I couldn't see it as I only could admire the interior of the church thought a gate. When I went there it was the closing time.

The Wilten basilica is situated in Haymongasse.

Favorite thing: Just to the left of the Annasaule stands this lovely baroque church. I don't know if it has any significant importance whatsoever, but it's just a striking piece of architecture, of which there are many in Innsbruck.

    Favorite thing:
A beautiful tower, with in the background the mountains surrounding Innsbruck. Unfortunately it was a very cloudy day, so the view of the mountains isn't so good.

    Dom zu St.Jacob

    Favorite thing:
This a view on the 'Dom zu St.Jakob'. In my 'off the beaten path' tips I will tell you a lot more about this cathedral, and show you some pictures of the beautiful interior.

Fondest memory: The oldest centre of the city 'der Altstadt'. Nice old houses and hotels and of course the Jacobstum.

Favorite thing: An oblique view along one of the sides of the Domkirche St. Jakob (St. Jakob's Cathedral), built in typical style in the 18th century.
