The Old Town
Favorite thing: Originally a Gothic town house, dating from the 15th century. In 1730, the facade was decorated with late-baroque stuccoes by artists from the Wessobrunner School. Now a residential and business building.
I found this a remarkable house, so much decorations! It is on the same square as the tower and the golden roof. I was amazed by it, looking down on it from the tower, but also looking up from the square.
It is originally a 15th century Gothic town house. In 1730, the façade was decorated with late Baroque stuccoes and front oriels, created by Anton Gigl.
The building is an outstanding example of bourgeois grandeur in the old town. The net vault of the adjacent arcades is a worthwhile architectural gem as well.
The house is named for Hans Helbling, who run a small café in there in 1833. It was completely refurbished in the years 1979 and 1980.
Favorite thing: This palace was built in the XV century and it was decorated in Baroque style in 1730.
It is located opposite the Golden Roof.

Zooming in on the Helbling...
Zooming in on the Helbling house. This way you can have a better look at it. The pastel colours and all the decorations on this building are just amazing!
The white building at the end...
Favorite thing: The white building at the end of this row is the one I was meaning - it looks like it's been decorated in Icing by some high-class chef! It's called Helbinghaus.
