Favorite thing: Hall

is a town a few km east of Innsbruck, and definitely one of the most charming places I've ever seen. If I simply called it 'quaint' (I can observe the inflation of this word in my writings!!!), that would hardly do it justice. A bonus point: it's nearly totally untouristed.

Favorite thing: On our way to Munich we had the opportunity to visit Kind Ludwig's Neuschwanstein Castle. Just about every picture you see in newly bought photo albums has this castle as a filler. Crazy Kind Ludwig definitely knew how to waste his people's money. But just how did he die?

Fondest memory: Our guide gave us an opportunity to visit a Austrian crystal factory. I believe this one is called Swzarski. I'm sure I am not correct on the spelling but we ended up spending a lot of money for gifts.
