  • Definently head to the park across the road from the Palace courtyard and next to the theatre. There is a building here, I am not sure if you can call it a club. I think that they call it the Hofpgarten. It equals a great night out and a good chance to mix with the locals. Tip: If you plan to take a 'Hopfgarten' pint glass home as a memento be careful. They make the glass very fine in Austria and I ended up with a nasty gash on my hand.

  • Best place to go in summer is the Hofgarten Cafe. It's situated in the town centre in the middle of the Hofgarten, therefore ideal for sitting outdoor and having a cool beer.
    Normally all beergarden close at around 11pm, but the Hofgarten Cafe is open until 1am. 2 hours more time to drink.
