Be prepared for all types of weather, specially in March!!! All the time I was in Innsbruck I heard what the weather was like a week ago... so wonderful, with 20 degrees and sunshine! Arrrrghhhh, that doesn't help me!!! It was snowing while I was there and freezing cold, brrrr. Look at the picture and see how it was snowing while we are visiting Ambras Castle.
It depends on the weather. Anyway, you should have warm clothes, water proof jacket, hiking shoes, hat, scarf, gloves, hiking sticks, sunglasses...etc.
Miscellaneous: If it rains, you better have dry socks and clothes with you. Chocolates and water are important for the whole trip.
In wintertime never forget:
skijack, skitrousers, skipully, handshoes, skishoes, shawl, long warm socks and sunglasses.
Toiletries and Medical Supplies: Sunprotecting creme and lipbalm.
Miscellaneous: Ski's if you have your own, otherwise you can rent them at almost every piste.
Clothing/Shoes/Weather Gear: If you visit Innsbruck when I did, mid-March, be prepared for anything. Wear plenty of layers since it WILL be cold, and take an umbrella. Our weather varied from rain to snow--we varied from wet to wetter.
