Starting from the top of the mountain Patscherkofel you can walk along a very nice hiking track called the "Zirbenweg". It has its name from the trees you find along the way - the Swiss stone pine. But not only that - it has a big variety of flora (more than 400 different plants can be found along this hiking track). It is an easy-to-walk hike (also for families because the track has not so much up and downs), but you need some basic condition.

Innsbrucks house mountain. In winter it´s a plce to go skiing and in summer it´s a hiking area so close to town....... It´s also an alpine downhill racing course.....
