Food and Drink, Innsbruck

Cafý Sacher offers it's "Sacher Torte" like they had the original and the best. For a piece of this cake they charge you 4,50 Euros, that's more than 1 Euro too much!
The chocolate covering was really not the best. And the dough was really not as consistent ("heavy") and tasty as it should be (more air than cocoa and nuts).
Try Sacher Torte in an other place, it can't be much worse.

Unique Suggestions: Try some other cake, they didn't look bad.
The Cafe is a bit more expensive than others, but a nice place also. Quality of coffee is OK.

Fun Alternatives: Sorry, I was in Innsbruck only for some hours...

That place is rather popular. I just don't like it - prices are significantly higher than in other bars around the spot. And don't drink their beer - it tastes a bit dull and even if you only a one glass you'll surely have headache the next morning.

Unique Suggestions: Stick to bottled beer (Wieselburger is a good choice) - it's more expensive but your braincells will thank you every cent the next morning.

Wienerwald is a Restaurant chain. They got a takeout and a restaurant where you can sit down. DON'T do this. It's not clean, food that takes 5min in the takeout need over an hour to your table and prices are as high as in regular restaurants...
The takeout compares pricely with McD - but I still think the food is rather lo qual...

Unique Suggestions: use the takeout.

DON`T go there...well eccept if you like to wait for your bill for more than an hour! The service was the worst I ever experienced......We waited more than an hour for the bill here...... well at least we didn´t got it at all... At the end we were just putting our money on the table and left....... When we asked one waiter in between this time he was doing like, "Hey, what do you want???" and he was really shouting at us!!!

Unique Suggestions: Pay when you get your meal...........the food was ok, but nothing special though......

and DON´T forget your umbrella inside!!!! :)))

Fun Alternatives: There are so many nice restaurants in this city............you sure will find a good alternative!
