  • There are enough bar-restaurants in Kitzbuehel and also one or two (small) clubs when we were here in 2004 New Year's Eve.

    A great pub on karakoe nights. Very lively and packed. Other nights are quiet but it is still a good place to start off the night with a few quick ones.
    The other nights are themed (eg: 60's, 80's, Rock etc) and not as popular.
    Drink is a bit more expensive but only a small bit.
    Nicknamed the 'bubble pub' because of all the glasses boubles hanging from the ceiling.

    Dress code is whatever you feel like wearing.

    A tiny little bar in the centre, that fills up fairly quickly and has a great atmosphere.
    Plus the owners tend to close whenever the punters decide to go home.

    Dress code is whatever you want to wear.

    Overpriced and pretentious. Entry is 15-euro and drinks are way over-priced. A double vodka and sprite was 17.50-euro. The staff and customers were snobby. I guess it's maybe a locals club and they don't like tourists being there.
    Maybe it's better on a speciality night but on Sat night the music is nothing special, only as good as any other very average club. With the entry fee you'd expect a lot more.
    I'd stick to the pubs and have a dance in there instead, better atmosphere and nicer people.

    It's a bit dressier than everywhere else. Seems to be the only place where people actually are all dressed up.

    Jimmy's is a lively bar with crowds as big as anywhere, but it doesn't have an awful lot of atmosphere. Good place to have a few at the start of the night, then head on.

    Dress code is whatever you want to wear, as with most places in Kitzbuhel.

    This is a pub in the centre of Kitzbuhel. It is the best for Apres ski (4pm ish to 7pm ish) and can be completely dead at other times.
    Basically whenever the band (Short and Curlies) are playing is when you want to be there. If you looking for a peaceful drink forget it as this place is loud and lively with most of the punters on top of the chairs or tables roaring along to the songs. Saying that, it is still very very friendly and safe and suitable for all ages from kids to oldies.

    No dress code at all. Dress up or stay in your ski gear.
