Built in 1250 by the Tirol ruler as a siege of the law , the castle overlooks the city . Here is located the museum of history of the region , where you could see the culture ,art , and way of life of the locals.
I am happy to see that the castle is presently experiencing its second phase of reconstruction that will turn him in spring 2006 into "the open window in the past" as the site states.

To the south of the city in the upper Inn valley lies the Castle Landhit. Bulit in about 1300 AD, and was the Court seat of the Counts Von Tirol. The musuem was started in the late 1960's and has recently been revamped to house a history, art and music displays.

'The Castle' Located near the castle, this 9pm till 4 am Nightclub is the best in town.. ermm the only one in town in fact. The DJ plays a crazy mix of hits, and probably is crazy.

Starting from the main bus station all the way to the castle of Landeck - you can find here enough shops to waste half a day. C&A , Palmers , Intersport ,Libro etc etc . Theyb have usually sales ,so you can always find something intersting at a good price.
