Member of "chaine des rotisseurs" and "tiroler wirtshaus" this hotel/restaurant offers class,service and food from high standart. The menu contains only 3-4 sites , but more than enough to choose from. Most meals sounded delicious. We took the lamb stew , as I loove lamb and weren't disappionted. You get to eat with silver cutlery on a silver plate. What more can you ask for a treat?

What makes the specific charm of this Gasthaus is the fact that it was able to conserve all its precious original interieur, the old wooden panelling. A 100 years ago and earlier mot of the traditional inns in Tirol were looking like that. But the upcoming touristic prosperity in the 1960-ies was fatal for most of them. The owners wnted to "modernize" their inns wiht the easily earned new money and destroyed that way most of the treasures they had, replacing them by cruelties which are now nicknamed "Lederhosenstil". The blessing ffor the Isserwirt were serious economic troubles under this time which did not allow him to follow this trend. So he had no other choice than just to let everything as it was and this resulted in the nice interieur this inn has today.
Favorite Dish: They serve nice local dishes but I used to devour here seas of wine.
