Jeeez , I am salivating just thinking of them!!!I love spinat , I love cheese , and a Spinat Knödel has it all. This is a traditional local uncomplicated dish that I would highly recommend to all that are not living only on meat.
Originally coming from Hungary ,the Goulash soup and the Goulash meal is one of the most delicious and typically local things you can eat in Austria.Made out of beef , and sometimes potatoes goulash cooked in tomatoes ,paprika and kim , with either rice, spatzle /typical local pasta/ or boiled potatoes. The secrets about the taste are still unknown to me I just described the msin ingredients.

The beginnings of the Auracher Loechl date back to the 15th century, when the building was run as a brewery. Over the years the tavern grew and finally became a restaurant, called "Weinhaus Auracher Loechl." The interior is all carved wood with lots of antiques on the walls and shelves. They have live music on weekends; the night we were there a man was playing the harp. This place was so good we ate there Friday night and Sunday afternoon in the same weekend. Everything our group of four ordered was fantastic, but the high points were the Senf Steak, the red cabbage, and the special Schoko Kuche we had for dessert.
