While skiing at Masner area take the Minderslift and on the highest point turn to the left (if to see from the lift). There is a two-humped peak (looks like a small Elbrus) behind the piste.
Cross the piste and go a few meters towards the peak. So close to the lift, pistes and people but so different from there!
Nobody around, it seems civilization is left behind your back.
There is only virgin snow in front of you and a slope to 'nowhere' without any ski-track. It's such a temptation to choose this slope to know if it's breaking leaving you no way down or it's coming to anouther village...
Just take a break, look at the sky, clouds, snow. A possibility to be alone with yourself.
For me the place unexpectedly became the highest and the best moment of our trip!
