The most of restaurants that could be find up in the mountains are self-services. Usually they occupy big building with a big area in the middle of it providing skiers with a large selection of food and drinks and around of this area there are a lot of tables with chairs or benchs. Usually there is also sun-terrace outside the building.
We had a luhch in some of the restaurants and found all of them are acceptable and convienent while skiing.
The Masner restaurant can compete with the Panoramarestaurant by its size. The most convinient place to have a lunch while skiing in Masner area (there is also Hexenseehütte restaurant but it's situated aside the main slopes).
Favorite Dish: A potato stuffed with mix of cheese, ham and another stuff, decorated with tomatos and salad is the good choise

I found the Panoramarestaurant to be one of the biggest mountain self-services. According to its name, very nice views unfolded outside the restaurants windows.
Big long tables are very convient for big companies lunching together.
Favorite Dish: I had a kind of 'tradition' to close the skiing day with eating fruit-salad in the Panoramarestaurant. There is a large selection of fruits in this self-service. You may combine it for yourself according to your taste. I prefered fresh (frozen) strawberries, raspberries with a mix of pears, peaches and grapes :)
It's such a pleasure to eat fresh berries in the middle of winter!

Lassida restaurant differs from other restaurants of this type by its interior. It is decorated in a style of an old country house. The decorations make the place attractive, so, it could be rather crouded during the usual lunch-time (about 1-2pm). In case you are going to have a lunch there I'd suggest you to come a little bit earlier or later, it would be easier to find free places.

As they are anounced on the www.serfaus.com:
Central, quiet and sunny location next to the mountain railway.
Raclette and fondue, grilled dishes at the open fire place in
the Schmiede Stüberl.
We choosed it as the place for our 'good-bye party' during the last evening at Serfaus. The restaurant differs from other we saw while staying there. Some dishes (like fondue or barbecue) are half-prepaired: we were given the special 'devices': small desk-table burners for prepairing barbecue from different meat sorts.
The important thing: reservation is necessary for the dinner. It's better to reserve a table a day before.
Favorite Dish: Grilled pork with roast potatoes and plenty of sauses was great!
