Restaurant Café Därfli is during daytime more or less the living room of St. Gallenkirch when locals and guests do have their drink or snack on the bar or in the café.
In the evening it is one of the best restaurants in St. Gallenkirch with an interesting and varied menu. The restaurant is not too big and has its own charm. If you are lucky there is 'life music' from a local.
Especially during the high season it is recommended to make a reservation.
Favorite Dish: Although Kurt Kessler and its crew offer only good food, we always have at least once during our stays the so called 'Bombay'; rice, curry, fruit and pieces of turkey meat. Together with a mixed salade a fantastic diner.

Muntanella Stöbli is a very typical local Austrian café restaurant with a very special decor against the walls and from the ceiling.
Here you will find thousands of different beer bottles from all over the world.
The cook uses fresh local products and so you are able to enjoy a real Austrian meal (don't expect 'chips'). And 'of course' you have to finish with one of the 'strudels' as dessert.
On a sunny day the terrace of Muntanella is the perfect place for an after ski stop.
From 2009 Muntanella is just open between 1.00 pm and 7.00 pm.
Favorite Dish: Muntanella is famous for its 'strudels', baked by Renate.

Enjoy the sun during your ski activities and relax on one of the terraces of the eight mountain restaurants in the Silvretta Montafon area. Especially when the weather is fine the terraces are full with people sunbathing, eating, drinking and enjoying the lovely scenery of the mountains.
The eight restaurants are all different and vary from a very basic booth with some sun chairs and benches till the huge restaurants of Nova Stoba (in the heart of the ski area) and Bella Nova.
When the weather is not too good, most of the restaurants offer an inside area for a lunch or just a drink.

Favourite destination for skiing
St. Gallenkirch, situated in so called 'Montafon', is our favourite destination for skiing already for a long long time. Not too far away (from Holland) and easy accessible over German and Austrian...
