Vienna offers all kind of nightlife activity. Just go to the center (i.e. Schwedenplatz). Leave a Comment Theme: Other |

In fact this not a single place, but a street full of shops and bars, it sounds great at the first time, but all the shops are open until 7 p.m. in the weekdays and until 5 p.m. at the weekends, there are hardly any cafees at night but mostly bars, where you can hear good music, there are of course some special places but they are too expensive and not very hard to find, for they are at the center of the city, but if i were you i would go to Charlie's Peace Bar... Charlie's Peace Bar is big, the dj plays always good music, every night you can hear different kinds of music, but mostly pop and the hit songs, I listen to Rock but anyway this is a good place, entry is free and the prices are ok.
You can wear anything you like, can you believe it, you shouldn't, because you cannot. But as long as it is not too marginal what you wear you won't have any problems, it is like an ordinary bar, like in most of bars in europe. Leave a Comment Theme: DancingDirections: It is near the center of the city, you acan go there with tramway, (this is the most common transportation in Vienna), there are tramway lines passing in front of this place which are 38, 40, 42´. This is a photograph of the City Theater. There's quite a busy nightlife in and around the pedestrian zones at Stephansplatz until the wee hours of dawn. No problem finding a nice streetside café or some great entertainment in one of the many side streets. Really. Theme: Theater |
Go out to Donauinsel. There are lots of bars along the Danube, many with their terraces on the water. For example, try Virus Bar. (Good name, isn't it?) Leave a Comment Theme: Eating and Drinking |
If you are in the centre, find the area called 'Bermuda Triangle'. It is situated around St. Ruprecht Church and is full of bars, pubs, etc. And of people, especially by night. Leave a Comment Theme: Eating and Drinking |
Has several bars and dance clubs that usually draw a pretty good crowd

The most popular cluster of bars is around the Bermuda Dreieck, the old Jewish Quarter in the area around Ruprechtskirche. Quite a few clubs are filled with, schicki-micki,/style-conscious/party-goers,and many of the clubs choosy door policies where the beatiful of the correctly dressed waltz past the queue. Pic up the Falter listings paper for information on what kind of sound and crows to on a certain night of the week. The ball season takes places during Fasching, the winter carnival season.

Shebeen is a great place for visitors looking for decent bar food, good beer and lots of internationals. In walking distance from my house, it's pretty much my default pub, and most of the waitstaff greet me by name when I show up (not sure if that's a good thing, or not). Dark, Irish/English feeling with decent music and lots of young people. Come to watch your favorite football (soccer) team or for a passable meal (I recommend the Sean Burger, the Thai Chicken, and the chips). The most unique thing about Shebeen is the preponderance and variety of expats and internationals who frequent it (though plenty of locals go there, as well).
Casual. Drop your backpack off at the hostel and head in for a beer. Leave a Comment Theme: DancingDirections: 7th district, the corner of Lerchenfelder Strasse and Strozzi Gasse.
