    Just in front of that colorful building,you can go to Hundertwasser Village,it is a small shopping center,with some bars and lots of shops and souvenirs.It is built in the same architecture of the house

    Go and see the Hundertwasser Haus. It is a municipal appartment block. It was created by Friedensreich Hundertwasser. He wanted to break away from what he saw as soulless modern architecture. The appartments are in irregular bands of colours with onion cupolas.

    The Hundertwasserhaus is a municipal apartment block created in 1985 by the artist Friedensreich Hundertwasser, who wished to strike a blow against what he saw as soulless modern architecture. The result is a building that some perceive, with its irregular bands of colour and onion dome cupolas, as more like a stage set for Hansel and Gretel than a block of council flats.

    Friedensreich Regentag Dunkelbunt Hunderwasser created these eccentric building. He is a famous Austrian artist and architectural creator.

    It is a concept by the man who it is named after. Built as an apartment complex, it is the modern day so called art. It is bizarre and divergent. Finished in 1983, there are 50 units and 5 shops on the site. Across the road are a couple of more. ON the main street you can find even more foreign vendors hawking the wares that tourists think they need. The street is uneven, so beware.

    KunstHausWien The Kunsthaus Wien is a museum dedicated to the painter, graphic artist and architect Friedensreich Hundertwasser (1928 - 2002). Inside you can see some of his best paintings as well as models of housing complex that he built in Austria and abroad. Hundertwasser was a very ecological artist: he believed that straight lines were innatural and was therefore trying to break those lines: he used a lot or irregular elements, colours and, when possible, natural materials. A good example is the floor of this Kunstahause that he designed: uneven and rounded. He also figured out a way of using plants to purify water, so that it could be recycled instead of wasted. The museum is on two floors and a visit costs 9 euros. On the ground floor, there is a café-restaurant and a shop. Entrance to the museum is 9 euros - definitely not cheap, but the ticket is quite artistic and unusual.

    The Hundertwasserhaus is in the third district and it's only a couple of blocks away from the Kunsthaus. It's an apartment house designed by Friedensreich Hundertwasser and built between 1983 and 1986. It's very colourful, with uneven lines (and floors) as well as plants and grasses both inside the house and on the roof. It is not possible to visit the house inside, as it is used by normal people: there are 52 flats and 4 offices. It seems - and it doesn't come as a surprise - that most of the flats are occupied by artists.

    Day 4 : Hundertwasser Opposite the Hunderwasserhaus, there is the Hundertwasser Village. It is like a small shopping mall, with lots of souvenir shops, and a bar in the middle of the patio. This Hundertwasser Village is also designed in the same style as the Hundertwasser Village. Even if you do not feel the need to buy some souvenirs it is still worth to enter this site, first of all to see the architecture and decorations, and the most important reason is of course : to visit the Hundertwasser Toilet (see next tip).

    Like the other building this one is also very interesting and they are located not far from each other. This public building is very colorful, also with different shape of windows, trees on roof, and you can only enjoy this artists greatness.
