Vienna Airport Lines take You to the heart of town, every 20 minutes during day, and every 30 minutes to the South and West Stations. Fare: ca. 70 ATS one way (60 ATS with Vienna Card, look next article)
THE VIENNA CARD: this card will get You in places: it costs ca. 180 ATS and entitles you to 72 hours of unlimited travel by underground, bus and tram. In addition you enjoy reductions at numerous Vienesse museums and other sights...
SCHOOL CHILDREN: Foreign school children under 15 years are entitled to free (!) travel on all Sundays and public holidays and during the Vienna school holidays - one week in February at Easter and in July and August - ID card

While you discover the city the Vienna Card is a good bet and saves money too. You can buy it at hotels and at Tourist Information Offices and at Transport sales counters. It gives you unlimited free travel by underground, bus (excl. night buses) and tram for 72 hours, and reduction or benefits at over 150 museums and sights, theatres, concerts, shops, restaurants, cafés and Heurigen (wine taverns). - The public-transportation system is excellent and reliable (U-bahns, Schnellbahns, Strassenbahns, and Autobuses). Bus tickets (Fahrscheine) are sold at any tobacco store, if you don´t want to buy the Vienna Card.

If you stay 8 days or longer it pays to take an 'Umweltticket'
    - it is valid 8 (seperate) days and worth 2 rides but valid
the whole day (about 5 a.m. to 12 pm) - the ticket costs ATS 300
(ATS 37,5 per day, with the Umweltticket you may go where
ever you want within city borders).

By a week-ticket for the public transportation system! This includes the underground, busses and tram. You can get with them everywhere you wanna go and you don't have to care about parking! It's a good, cheap and quick way.

If you buy a ticket like one-day-travel pass , it's really useful to look around Vienna and it can also save money!! With this ticket you can take all of the vehicles; U-Bahn, bus and lovely tram.
The price of Oneday-Ticket is 60AS compared to the price of a sigle ticket, 20AS.

Plane, Train, Bus, Car......everything is possible
The best way to get around is the tram. If you are there just for a day you can buy a 24 hour ticket for example...
