When I came here, I was suposed to work... so I've been hosted by my boss in a house that he rented with his family for the entire winter. What I want to say is that I haven't experienced a lot in terms of being a travellers since everything was arrange for me (housing, food, skis, etc...) The weather in Austria is awesome, you can ski on a beautiful mountain in the Alpes where there's plenty of powder's snow and get at the bottom of the mountain with your t-shirt at 20 celsius for a tan!!

As we have got lots of beautyfull parks you should not miss to visit one of them. At the center of Vienna you can find lots of sights and allways someone who knows a story behind them. My best 'memory' of Austria is that I was born here and had the chance to meet lot of interesting people here.What I miss most when I'm away are my friends and Austria's landscape.

visit Salzburg ,this is a beautyfull baroque city, where mozart live and composed.It's got some nice little streets with even smaller shops,where you can by local handmade art and dishes!There is a beautyfull garden called the 'mirabelgarten'that is worth visiting ,and if you can go to the Fortress 'hohensalzburg'!Further there are great churches and a cathedral.Watch out for the fountains! One of the best things in Salzburg are the famous 'mozartkugeln' made by Mirabell,they have been making this chocolate composition for over 110 years ,believe me they are 'marvelous'!!

Strudel dough:300 g all-purpose flour100 ml water1 pinch of salt1 egg3 tablespoons of vegetable oilsome extra flourFilling:100 g melted butter50 g extra fine breadcrumbs (Semmelbrösel)1 kg apple slices50 g raisins100 g sugarPreparation:put sifted flour into a bowladd the water and the saltadd the eggadd the oilknead the dough (you can use a machine first, then use your hands)beat the dough 30 times on a flour powdered kitchen table until it‘s smooth and elasticmake a ball and wrap it in plastic foilleave it at (bavarian/austrian) room temperature for 30 minutesroll out the dough on a flour powdered tea-towel as thin as possiblecover with another (moist) tea-towel for 5 minutesput your hands under the dough, use your back of the hands to stretch it until you can read your daily newspaper through itcut the thick bordersspread melted butter on the dough 'sheet' and powder with breadcrumbs...

See Vienna for its magnificent buildings and Schonbrunn (Siss's Palace). If you like classic music you really must visit Salzburg. You can still feel the presence of Mozart when you walk through the old village! For those who like to walk in the mountains, visit the Oetztal. I enjoyed my stay in Salzburg the most. It is a beautiful city that reminds you of former days. A long walk through the Alps is also extremly recommendable!

You have to go see Austrian dances. i was in a restaurant, near Salzburg. While we were eating a group of dancers entertained us with the tipical Austrian dance. It was so much fun! The costumes are pretty, the dances and the music also, you guys have to try it.
