Again a different style of the church, and it is wonderful as always in Vienna!this one was hidden also in a backstreet, you have to think you could always discover something new and beautiful in Vienna ;-D

Statues are accorded to the cartier you're walking in, and this is a real wonderful thing in Austria, take a look for instant, this statue is a modern one, in the modern part of the city, you'll find classical ones in the old part in the centrum.

Austria could be the richest country with museums, in Vienna there are 2 big museums, which must be absolutly visited, but they need at least 2 days to see everything, so if you have this time, please do it, it is so culture visit that you won't regret! ;-D

This is not unique, my VT friends knows, I like to take lots of pictures of those artists, but in general, they are greedy, they want money for it, this one was really an Angel, maybe it was the luck under the influance of the Lucky woman Angelika hee hee!so he was more than happy and friendly to be framed in the picture ;-D

The Gardens of Upper Belvedere are worth to have a walk through and enjoy the lovely nature and art of man!rather do it in a summer day as fountains are working, but you can't have all the wonders in the same time, I mean Christmas could never be in the summer right LOL

I actually took this funny picture of the Grandma with the pillow, but I remembered mine, the mother of my mother, she was in Vienna and other European countries, and accorded to her, Vienna is her best and favorite city, well I understand her now!

I just came from my visit to Austria.I loved this country very much, so beautiful, so clean, pleasant weather, much fun to have, many places to go, so much to do and enjoyand the must polite and kind and respectful poeple. The country of friends and happiness.. I would call it

Austrians are extremely clean people. They take great pride their country and it shows. Except for the big cities, you will be hard-pressed to find any litter. They have a very strict recycling ordinances, including thousands of euros in fines for violators. They are the eco-tourist's dream.
see Vienna and Salzburg and make a several-days'-trip into the mountains on a rainy, cloudy, misty, murky day as well as on a gorgeous, glorious day filled with sunlight and the smell of flowers, herbs, moss and layers of fallen leaves. Climb mountains but don't forget the towers and castles in the cities, they all offer you the most lovely, inviting views, so that you will want to go on and on and beyond...... Sitting high, oh so high up in the mountains, feeling overwhelmed and stunned by nature itself in its majestic manifestations, feeling the goose-pimples come up your back and legs and arms, wondering if it is the cold or your feeling soooooooo insignificant....Vienna is a real surprise, chic and lively and SACHER and HERR MOZART , so waltzing too!!It was there that I have eaten the best pizza (!)of my life till now. Never shall I forget the thermometer in the street...

We were planning to fly to Durban (SA) but when we arrived there was a strike from the pilots from Sabena (former Belgian airline). So they changed our flight to Austrian airlines what brought us to Vienna in the morning our connecting flight to SA was late at night so we where able to visit Vienna for a day. Nice surprise. Another surprise was that we received business class from Vienna to Jo'burg.
