After 4 PM, you go there and drink until 08:30 PM. Just be carefull when going home. Snowboard drunk and in the dark is not recommended for beginers! Leave a Comment Theme: Other

There are several Irish pubs in Salzburg but this is by far the most relaxed and laid back. From the front door and ceiling/wall design it reminded me of a hobbit hole from Lord of The Rings. The bartenders are very friendly and will expect you to speak english! They have all the same drinks as Shamrock except for a few specials (both are owned by the same people). If you want to relax and talk then this is the bar to visit. There are also two bar areas (up front and in the back) and many seating areas.
It's casual. Theme: Eating and DrinkingAddress: Rudolfskai 16Directions: In Neustadt between the Rathaus and Mozartsteg bus stops. Next to Shamrock pub.

There are several bars in Salzburg where you aren't hanging around with old men drinking from giant Steins. (but if that's what you're after then read the tip about Augustiner Braeustuebl). Shamrock is one of several Irish-themed bars in Salzburg but the best if live music is what you're looking for. One bar up front (i think Guinnes, Kaiser, a Wheat beer, and another dark ale on tap) and plenty of seating in the back. It's louder and and a little darker than my other favorite Irish bar in Salzburg (O'Malleys). On the weekends expect the place to be busy.

"The Londoner" is a eating & drinking place in Kitzbuhel, but between 16:00-19:00 it becomes more than that! At 16:00 is also the time that most ski lifts close and the "Apres Ski" begins. The house band of 2 musicians is "The Short & Curlies" which invites the audience or patrons to participate in the songs with singing and dancing either on the dance floor or on top of your chair! Between songs, the band members invite the patrons to lift their glass to a toast and says...Brrrooosssst!, then the patrons go wild! Also through the course of the night the band asks the audience if anyone is from England? The patrons reply with a cheer! Is there anyone from Italy? Followed by more cheers and followed by more contries & more cheers! I found it interesting to know that so many countries were represented in one pub and the main ingredient was to have fun, sing, dance and interact with each other after a hard day of play on the mountain.
I saw some people still in their ski clothes & ski boots. Their skis were on the rack outside. Most people made it off the mountain in time to go to the hotel & change into jeans and a casual shirt. My suggestion is to wear a cool shirt as it gets very hot inside with all the people.
