Salzburg has everything you need. Shoe shops, wine, bread and books. The streets at Christmas were well decorated and had that happy feeling associated with Christmas. |

The US Army Shop is not as it seems for weapons and so, but it is full of great collection of clothes and shoes and boots coming from USA and UK! the prices are really good, and you will easy find the shop in downtown, the main street is large and straight, just follow it and you'll reach it! |

Stamps from Austria make a wonderful souvenir - and they are really beautiful ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ This is the favorite stamp-block for Tourists coming to Vienna : 400 years of the Spanish Riding-school It is too late to put these stamps on a letter / as we have €uro now - and these stamps are still in Schillings but they certainly make a great souvenir |

whenever you pass by a post-office in Austria - simply have a look for "Sondermarken" - it means stamps for special events/monuments etc. They are the same price and still may have a better value for you - - like this stamp for the "Hundertwasserhaus" in Vienna |

It's held in winter, near Christmas. Various small stalls selling arts and crafts made by locals. It also serves Gluhwein (hot wine) and you can collect the glass (Some European cities has this kind of markets always have gluhwein and they have different glasses) The sausages and pork knuckles are worth trying! Nice and warm to eat in cold winter nights. For some sausages, wine and small souvenirs, I'd say 10 euro. depends on what you want to get. |
