Hrodna is located on the Neman river about 15km from the border of Poland and about 30 km from the border of Lithuania. It has some more than 300 thousand population. Hrodna has one of the largest concentrations of Catholics in Belarus. It is also a centre of the Polish culture, with the majority of Belarusian Poles living in the city and its surroundings.

But if you want the net to work normally, you should pay a visit to the internet café at Telegraph Street. When you walk from Leninska Square towards Karl Marx street, you have the internet cafe at your left hand at the 1st floor. There is really many computers, but ask for the best and one with latin characters. The price is about two euro per hour.

You find a wide selection of petrol stations, where you can buy both green, octane 95 and normal petrol, octane 92,95,98. You may have gas, diesel and carwash – and the price are in 2007 about 1 US $ per litre green octane 95. Carwash:5 US $ luxury mechanic and personal wash
