    Fountain in Lenin Avenue

Leninsky Avenue or Leninsky Prospect is a long street. It has a characteristic "look" with big and long socialistic buildings made from red-brown brick on both side of street. That is followed by line of trees and benches. Ideal place to walk during summer times. For my opinion bast decoration of this beautiful street is fountains. Lamp on streets is perfect part of this arrangement of modern street with retro look.

This is the very heart of the city and one of the most elegant streets in Minsk. Its light-brown buildings are very nice, as well as the large pavements with benches and trees are often full of people at any time of the day and night. The same applies to the perpendicular Skariny prospekt which comes from the Independence square.
Lenin wouldn't be too happy to know that nowadays a McDonald's fast-food restaurant is at the corner between the two main streets of Minsk! ;)

A lofty monument commemorating the war victory was erected in Victory Square in 1954.
An architectural ensemble comprising Independence, Victory, Yakub Kolas and Kalinin squares was formed on Lenin Avenue in the course of the postwar decades. All the buildings lining the Avenue are the acme of the Belarusian civil engineering. This is the area in which Lee Harvey Oswold (assassin of US President Kennedy), stayed while a citizen of the Soviet Union.
