  • Wooden houses

    Zaslawye Favorites

I really liked the wooden houses in Zaslavl. There are some impressive ones on the corner of Sovetskaya and ul. Pochtovaya and elsewhere along Sovetskaya. Goats also seem quite popular in Zaslavl. I saw a woman walking one across the railway tracks. The town was very laid back on a Saturday and pleasantly quiet, a typical country town. Zaslavl has...

  • Smell of toilet

    Nesvizh Warnings and Dangers

Near the castle of Nesvizh we found building from bricks – public toilets. It looked quite soviet. There are holes instead of closets and the smell, overwhelming everything. It is better to breathe much fresh air before or to go to restaurants’ toilets.

  • Towh Hall building and square

    Nesvizh Things to Do

Nesvizh town hall was built at the end of the 16th - beginning of the 17th century. Now the town hall square is surrounded by modern buildings, like city municipality and some other soviet structures. For me Nesvizh town hall building looks like Kaunas (Lithuania) town hall, but smaller and not so graceful.
