The LopLop Café: Out for a drink...

by domino2012

This is a great place to go out for drinks. Once in awhile there is live music, and I can guarantee that you'll have a great time. Located in the center of Brussels, just the perfect place to grab a great beer adn hang out with friends. Whatever you like, open to all, just one condition, have a drink and have a good time.

Culture Club: The hype of the moment: CULTURE CLUB !

by icefreak

It's one of Europe's hippest clubs of the moment with a very stylish decor, pretty people, famous DJ's, very good music (they have a house-room and a smaller R'nB room) You should realy check it out! They have a very strict door policy: no sneakers, wear trendy clothes, .... But above all: don't try to get in without a girl! One guy without a girl is allright, but if you and 3 of your friends want to go out in Culture Club, be sure that you won't get in without a pretty girl standing next to you.Girl/boy ratio: 1:1

TV: Nightlife home?

by Norali

When this cow started talking about some kind of nightlife people would not recommend while visiting a country, I laughed. Can you imagine? She talked about TV... Within her bla bla, I kept track of an advice she gave: read Tv program magazines if you have time. I insisted saying that tourists don't watch TV while visiting countries. She said they would if the weather is quite bad (knowing the weather in this part of the world, she might be right) or if they have to stay in their hotel room for one reason or another. She is specialized in French-speaking program magazines but Belgium has it in Dutch as well. The Bulletin newsweekly gives you details of TV programs in English. In French, look after Tele Moustique and CinéTeleRevue. In Flemish, check Humo (Peter_P gave me this piece of info).During my "Cowsspotting session", other cows revealed me facts and stories about Belgium and its...

clubbing: Encountering with DJ Louise

by Norali

Well, this time... I may deceive you but when I tried to have some info from Dj Louise, she was busy heating up some crazy nights in Brussels. See one of her hands holding her helmet? She was mixing and clearly meant I disturbed her. Sooo, I pulled back. So, not that much info on nightlife. She just told me we will meet later and she will give me more info of her activities throughout Belgian clubs. Yet, I have some cool places where to have fun without clubbing. Please have a look for nightlife tips in my cities' pages. Check in the tips :)

Cafe Botteltje bar in Ostend: Beer Drinking in Belgium

by GypsyBessie

Cafe Botteltje was just around the corner from our Hotel, The New Astoria. We found it to be very pleasant and cosy, quite busy without being crowded or noisy. It is a great bar in which to try out all the different Belgian beers, of which there seem to be hundreds. Casual

Osten's beer house: Beer in Belgium again

by GypsyBessie

Osten's bar was again around the corner from our hotel The New Astoria in Ostend. This was the first bar we tried and although Osten himself was English and there were a few English customers there were also a number of local people in the bar. It was also an excellent bar in which to try all the various kinds of beers. I tried two of the fruit beers here - Kreike and Peche (cherry and peach flavoured respectively) Casual

Reflex: Discos and nightcafes

by bgjulieta

This disco is on two floors and with two kinds of music which are not mixed in once. There the smoking is less so if you don't smoke it's ok. the music is not too loud and that is very good by my opinion. With clothes is ok, I didn't had problem with it. I don't remember to heard for a problem about it.
