I've been hunting for such a narrow path, and I finally chased it and took it in picture!
it is also in the beautiful oldtown of Brussles!
knowing my fanatism of taking such pictures, you can verify in other pages of line and see it is my real weakness ;-)

Near the Law Courts you will have a possibelity to see the roofs of the houses in the area, as the street goes down there!
and you will be happy to see the green views even in some of the roofs of the houses, like here, it is very special and tipical to Brussles!

    The King of Spain:
    Baker's House:
Dome of Italian inspiration. The facade is adorned by a bust of Charles II,
the king of Spain, and by four medallions representing the effigy of Roman emperors.
Above the front door a golden bust of Saint Hubert -Parton saint of the bakers- .

Belgians are great, I was really impressed when I met them and had contact with them,
they are civilized, cultured, love life, and know how to live!
they know many languages, and all speak English freely,
and it is natural for them to speak French and Flemish!
so 3 languages and up is the fact that makes them different in the good sense ;-))

... was built 1821 and it has produced the beer since that time.

Visits are not encouraged, though the brewery can sometimes be seen by appointment.

The smart, traditional copper brewhouse is in a 1930s building.

Those buildings are the hostels of the students, they live, study, eat, sleep here!
when I was walking I remembered one of my best periods of life when I was a student in the Bordenko Medicine university in Voronezh, and my first year I spent there was in a hostel similar to this one!

  • In Brussels, a great place to go shopping is the Rue Bailli in Ixelles: nice boutiques and little shops. Go to the Salon for lunch or tea, or try one of their homemade cakes.

The Musee de l'Armee which is located the Parc du Cinquantenaire. This museum will likely only please enthusiast of military history only but if you are like me such an individual then be sure to visit this place. It possesses the largest collection of weaponry from the First World War that I have ever seen. It also has a large display of tanks, aircraft, and uniforms. The collection of over 130 aircraft is one of the largest you will see anywhere. I personally found the old uniforms from the early 19th century sort of dull and would advise that you go to the galleries featuring the two world wars if you are pressed for time.
The museum is open from Tuesday until Sunday from 9:00 a.m. to 12 p.m. and from 1:00 p.m. to 4:45 p.m. Pleasantly it is free to visit this museum.

All the high buildings and comertial centres or work office buildings are placed in the modern region of the Gare du Nord!
it was fun to see all the different modern styles of those buildings!
I think when I go to New York I'll be so impressed!
