    Gaasbeek castle

The castle is very well preserved and richly decorated by the different owners. It has a nice park where you can walk around a long time, without paying anything. A nice walk! The castle is very nice. But if you are expecting a medieval castle forget about it. Its decoration is from much more later. The visit is about an hour long, the tapestries are worth the tour. The only thing that is sad is that your time in each of the rooms is limited by the presence of a guardian that doesn't explain a thing. You have to buy a pamphlet before starting the visit.
