So I went to Villers-la Ville with my car.
To get there:
Highway Namen / Namur -Brussel / Bruxelles (E411), exit 9. Louvain-la-Neuve, direction Nijvel / Nivelles (N25), exit Villers-la-Ville.
Or
Highway Bergen / Mons - Nijvel / Nivelles / Brussel / Bruxelles (E19), Nivelles-Sud, Ring Nivelles (R24) direction Waver / Wavre, N25 direction Louvain-la-Neuve, exit Villers-la-Ville.
With this schedule it should be easy to find, but when I arrived in Nijvel / Nivelles there was a detour to Waver / Wavre, and like that it was impossible to get back on the planned road.
Luckily I had a detailed map of the region in the car. But still it was not easy, as I was driving from the one small village to the other one. Maybe also part due to the Belgian way of road signalisation, it was not easy to find.
But at a certain moment I just had to follow the queue of cars, which all were going to the concert in Villers-la-Ville.
Soon we all needed to park our car at both sides of the road, as this was the nearest we could get by car, wow that was a long walk to the ruins, of course it is difficult to say the exact distance, but it surely was more then 4 kilometres. Leave a Comment Theme: Car/Motor Home

This is a clear map on how to get there. Hire a car, hire a friend but be there because this is Belgium's hidden secret, so somebody says. It's very true.
