Baroc is a boutique located Rue des fripiers... Its early-twenty-century building is charming, with high ceiling rooms.
3 boutiques: Baroc accessories, Baroc home furniture, Baroc café...
Nice place to "be lost" as you can enjoy the babbling of a fountain in the boutique while wandering from a corner to another... Clever and pleasant layout.. Discovering designed items is already a real running off...
People are nice, take time to listen to clients. Last time I talked to one of co-managers over the phone, she told me that they were extending activities. As from now, cultural life after "shopping". Reading sessions, classic and baroque concerts will take place in Baroc premices... And that they are changing website in order to reflect introduction of cultural life, and to maintain activities agenda. In French though!
What to buy: Find there oriental jewelry, Indian, Pakistanese, even Afghan turquoise rings (ancient).. ethnic designers jewelry with nice gems... colourful scarves (I like celadon, linden and redwine shades)... Stylish home furnitures and accessories (cushions, materials, tables, lamps, glasswares... ).. French perfume...
What to pay: Depends on what to buy :-) Items range from silver rings to wrought iron table...

The shop is a real pleasure for the eye!!! You feel like in another word with special modern furnitures and accessories inspired by the 60ies or 70ies! If you like to decorate your house with flashy colors or a white and black cold design, you are in the good place!

Since the 25th of September 2003, Mons has its own big shopping centre. 30000 m² of shopping: imagine!
There are over 70 shops in this centre, a big part of them sells clothes. But you can also find perfume shops, pubs, a travel agency, ...
It's a great place to spend a couple of hours!
It is situated just at the border of the highway, so it has a very easy access.
If you'd rather do some shopping in the old city centre, no problem, there are also some major stores like H&M, C&A, Esprit, ... in this neighbourhood.
