Great fishing in the Lac de Warfaaz. In this small lake there is a lot of fish for the anglers enjoyment. In total they put 3.400 kg fish in the lake. There is trout, salmon, carp, pikes and more. You need to have a permit. This permit can be obtained at the Spa tourist info, or at the Jardin des Elfes, a restaurant with playground at the lake itself.
The lake itself:
In 1892 a small dam in the river Wayai made the lake which is 6 ha. It can hold 360.000 liter water, and depth varies from 1.50 m tot 8.50 meter.

Great with children is the waterbikes at Lac de Warfaaz. With sunny weather the small lake is the destination for families from Spa and surrounding areas. There are some restaurants and bars. Two have a playground for young children. And always populair on these days are the waterbikes. Prices in may 2004 were 4 Euro for a two person waterbike and 6 Euro for a 4 personbike.
The lake is not very large, so this actictivity is with children only.
