Then you arrive at the grotto entrance when you can choose your guide (french/english/dutch/german/italian).You have a guided tour and a small show inside. It is very beautiful and a Must See...

 freya_heaven Says:  Running through the town of Han is the River Lesse, quite a small river only running 52 miles before it enters the River Meuse after winding through the caves of Han.On the bridge as it seems all over this area of Belguim are flags of Britain, America, Canada, Belgium...

The day we visited was very reminicent of the the song words "holiday town in the rain". Plenty of cafes & gift shops, most closed up apart from the hardy few....

From here it is only about a 500m walk to the town.The boat tour was the main reason why I chose the Han caves to visit & I have to say I was quite disappointed. You are only on the boat...

There were not many english speakers so we had a guy who spoke french & english.The underground tour is roughly 3km long, non slip boots are recommended, especially if you are like me, very accident...
