At the La Renaissance Hotel you can have some nice local meals in the restaurant Le Javidin.
It might look not too big on the outside but inside it has a huge eating place and when the weather permits, then there is a huge garden you can sit in.
You don't need to eat, you also can sit on the open or covered terrace, in front or in the garden
Favorite Dish: When we were there we took a fixed dinner for 21 Euro.
We got soup, wild boar stew with potatoe croquettes and vegetables. We ended up with the dessert of the day.

When we visited Herbeumont we went to this pub/restaurant/hotel for a drink after our morning walk.
Looking at the menu card, we decided to come back later that same evening after our trip to Bouillon.
We wanted to taste wild boar and so did our visitors.
Here we are facing our dessert!
We had so much we could only eat half of it!
Favorite Dish: Try the local menu.
In Autumn and Winter you should eat wild boar or anything that is shot in the local woods, how more local can it be?!
