Be careful in the hunting season: some parts of the woods are closed to public then.
Usually it is marked at the borders, but most probably it will be in French. Just see if it got some numbers on it indicating a date, it is most likely the date of the hunting.
Stay out then!
This picture shows a hiding place of the hunter. The drivers will chase the animals in front of them towards the hiding spots of the hunters. Out of view they have an advantage to suprise the animals and shoot them
Most of the hunted deers and wild boars are for local consumptions.
