Wildlife is abundant inside the forested areas and farming lands around the forests. Get up early in the morning and the chance of spotting wildlife is very big. Deer are common in these areas and they live in groups of 2 till 12 animals during the breading season. This is a small group of two. During the rest of the year the mother lives together with here youngsters.

Wild Boars are common in these areas and they live in groups of 5 till sometimes 50 animals. But you also come across solitary males like this one.

Inside the forest you come along a lot of cabane, these are small wooden house mainly used by loggers. Each area has got his own cabane and when you are lucky you can stop and have a drink with the owner.

Hiking trail are spread all around, you can find hiking maps at the tourist office in Nassogne town in these maps they explain all the possible routes. You can also go on your own and just follow the arrows.
