I was born in Namur (in a little village called Dave).
I grew up and moved to Brussels at the age of 30. Namur represents for me the best city of Belgium, a charming middle age town, with his majestuous citadelle, lovely old market, friendly citizen and various excellents restaurants.
Located along the riviers Meuse and Sambre, it is just a pleasure to walk down the streets of Namur. A must to ber visited if you come to Belgium.
Another way to see Namur ... its roofs ... its churches Towers ... You can see the Baroque church St Loup.
Fondest memory: You have this kind of interesting view when getting the citadel by foot.
