In October, I had the pleasure of having Rose visiting me for a couple of days. All the way from New Zealand she headed to Europe for an adventureous travel!
She managed to meet up with a lot of friends here, old one, new ones, VT-ers and non VT-ers.
We spend a day in Antwerp and a day in Bruges (see my Bruges pages).
Fondest memory:
Diamonddog and me went to pick Rose up at the airport of Charleroi where she landed close to 11 pm. We drove back North but made a short stop at the Heizel in Brussels to have a nice nightly view on the Atomium.
Then we headed to Mortsel.
The sleeping was a bit primitive as I don't have a spare bed, but oh well I guess there is a bit of adventure sleeping on a camping bed ? `-)
Next day we went to Antwerp and I showed her Central Station and then we went to the theatre area where I took this picture of her in front of the Bourla Theatre or once popular named the French Opera.
