Bizanaat!: Travelling around the Mediterranean sea.
This restaurant was a real hype when it
opened. The sister of the owner had a
restaurant with a reputation for years just
around the corner : El Warda.
This was a newbie and an instant succes.
I like buffet-restaurants. Not because you can
eat as much as you can...but because all the
different tastes. You will get spoild , pampered
here.First there is this starters buffet with
10 different dishes after that there are still 7
main dishes waiting for you.
All the times I was there it were different
dishes from Libanon , Tunesia , Morocco....
Favorite Dish: This is one of my favorite restaurants
worldwide. I mean that. And it is located in a
neighboorhood far from the tourist jam but
easy to reach.... A well kept secret for tourists.
2 formulas , on weekdays you pay 16,5 euro
all in except drinks. In the weekend a visit will
cost you 25 euro but your expected upstairs
in the moroccan tea-salon for drinks and desert.
I prefer the week. Much calmer....7 o'clock is
the perfect time to arrive. One of the
Moroccan guys will take his time to tell you
where the disher are from and what they
contain. Everything is 'Halal'. Meaning that the
meat is from animals that are killed in a
certain way. They don't serve porc and there
is no alcohol used to prepare the dishes. But
of course you can order a nice bottle of wine....
