'Wok a Way' is the little brother of 'de wok en het
tafeldier'. An asian popular restaurant with
spectacular wok cooking. On the street side
of this bar you can do some window shopping.
They sell everything you need for some asian
home cooking as well.
This place was very trendy when it opened
and it still looks quit flashy. You can sit at
the bar and choose some ingredients for
your wok dish , or order a combination of suchi
or dim sum... And if the weather is nice
you can take it with you and enjoy it outside.
The philosophy of this fast food place is to serve quality Asian food at a fair price in an alternative way.
Wok A Way is a fastfood restaurant situated in one of the busiest parts of the city (Groendalstraat - pedestrian street).
They have a few tables on the street, which is - IMO - one of their strong points as it's hard to look inside to see what the place is actually about. When there are people eating outside you can litterally look into their bowl and see how tasty it looks!
Favorite Dish: They have soups, dim sum, sushi, stir fry dishes, ...
We ordered a stir fry with fish & shrimps, veggies, rice and black pepper sauce and another stir fry with chicken, veggies, rice and a sweet&sour chili sauce. Delicious!
This fast food Chinese restaurant is a good place for lunch. You order and pay your food at the desk next to the entrance. Take a seat at the counter and wait for your meal to pass by on a conveyor belt.
Favorite Dish: Dim Sum or Sushi (chicken, fish or veggie)
Fried or steamed rice
Wok meal consisting of 8 different vegetables, chicken, fish or tofu and a sauce (sweet, medium or hot)
