There are various possibilities. A trip on the River Scheldt (approx. 50 minutes) gives you an unforgettable picture of the city and the river. A visit to the gigantic port area (approx. 2 ½ hrs) takes you right into the docks where mighty sea ships are loaded and unloaded. Evening trips include a carefully-prepared meal with wine served in an atmospheric setting (approx. 3 hours).
Flandria also does one-day trips to various tourist destinations.
Most trips start from the pontoon by the Steen. However, visits to the port depart from Quay 13 (Londenbrug or London Bridge - Little Island).
You do need to make a reservation in good time for evening and day trips.
Information is available from the little boat-shaped Flandria building on the Steenplein.

Parking on the other side of river Schelde (not directly the side at the centre) is much cheaper! By taking the tunnel you can get to the other side of the river Schelde and will be able to enter the centre of town. (This tip was given to me by Rieke (Ria) and Myriam_c (Myriam).
